All this is very sad.

It goes to show how important it is to have all you affairs in order, with an appropriate Will drafted.

Any Thai lawyer who tells you that you need in a will in Thailand as well as at home is simply trying to line his own pocket.

A properly probated will from the UK or USA will be accepted by the Thai courts.

I am sure the same is true for most, if not all, western countries
