Why was a car licence available to you without testing?

My UK licence was sufficient proof that I could drive and so did not need to do the test

When was this? Did you need the paper counterpart?

I would take both parts if you have them, and be aware that they will still test you for color blindness,peripheral vision and reaction times

but you won't have to do the multiple choice writen ( computer ) test or the actual practical driving test.

I did the test on Wednesday for the mortorbike and also got car license but no test for that as i had a American license and documented it if anyone wants a read

I am on my third one year licence all had with Visa Waiver stamps - all from the DLT centre at Regents. So should be yes......
