Our company is looking to employ a westerner who is currently in Thailand. She is going to Cambodia to get her Non B. The list of documents to be presented is very long but not a problem. The problem we have is the list says you must present your Degree along with all the other docs.....She doesnt have a degree. will this be a problem? This is not a school but a plastics factory. Also can anyone who has been to cambodia recently list the documents that they took to get a non B?

Many thanks

there is no specific requirment for a degree in this circumstance, you are mis reading the form, however you must show she is being employed by virtue of her specialised skills, experience, job description

Firstly, apologies for hijacking the thread!

I have been asked to teach Business English at a University. I have numerous TEFL qualifications including Business English together with 26 years experience in Banking where I completed many appropriate company training/business courses. I do not have a degree,

I would like advice as to weather I could successfully obtain a NON B under these conditions (probably visiting Laos).

Thanks

I believe having a job and school paperwork will be the deciding factor - exceptions can be made when degree is required and if memory is right it may not be required for university teaching but someone else would have to confirm that.

I believe the form he is talking about is part of the application form for a Work Permit, listing degrees, certificates, accolades, if you have them and the skills or previous experience that you have.

I would not worry about her not having a degree, if she lists the skills that she has that may be pertinent to the job.
