Herbia Epmedii (aka horny goat weed)

Eurycoma Longifolia (Tongkat ali)

Not wishing to flog a dead horse, but I think it's also worth pointing out that all these so-called "facts" about the contents of Balimojo and their miraculous effects are not taken from independent, unbiased research in scientific journals, or even from Wikipedia or some similar source.

They are taken directly from the Balimojo website.

Since the purpose of this website is to sell Balimojo, why would they make false and ludicrous claims about the stuff? After all the only effect of this would be to bring them in more money.

Couldnt be bothered to relist all the wonderful herbal descriptions , but just one thing to ask , are all these herbs in one tablet? and has anyone carried out studies on the combined effects of these on the rest of the body ???

Sounds good though, but does one tablet do the business or is it a question of building up a level in the body over a period of time by taking one a day or similar, as is often the case wth herbal products, as their effect is normally over a period of time.

I am a scientist, so I hate quackery, lies and superstition masquerading as the truth.

It's a simple matter of fact that despite all the multitude of things wrong with the pharmaceutical industry, and they are legion, any claims they make about the efficacy and safety of their products are held up to rigorous scientific scrutiny and testing, with the prospect of legal sanctions if they lie. Even then things go wrong.

The claims of herbal industry are held up to no such scrutiny. They claim anything and everything with no proof , studies or safety checks. There is no way of telling what is mere fiction, wishful thinking, placebo effect, or in many cases outright deliberate deception for profit.

I do not trust statements for which there is no reliable evidence, especially statements made by someone who profits markedly if I believe them.

It seems to be common sense not to be gullible in a world full of cons. At least to me.

Yes, thalidomide springs to mind.

Also, a lot of these pharmaceuticals are new to mankind and human cytoplasm, never having existed on Earth before they were created in a laboratory. The long term effects they have on the body are unknown. It's not possible to know if in eg 20 or 30 years time they have some delayed dangerous effect because they've only been in existence for a relatively short period of time.
