September 6, 201213 yr We are looking to buy a new truck and have been looking at a Mitsubishi. The salesperson is pushing a dual fuel gas / lng says we will save a lot of money on fuel purchases. My wife is nervous, says she doesn't want a rocket trip to heaven. Anyone have experience with this type of vehicle?
September 6, 201213 yr Tell your wife every taxi in BKK uses either CNG or LPG. CNG tanks dont blow up, there's a pressure relief valve that will vent in one direction rather than blow up. LPG is more dangerous, it'll stick to skin, whereas CNG floats up.
September 6, 201213 yr i did came across afew articles that mention that a petrol tank is more likely to have an explosion than lpg/cng. i believe a similar topic was raised in the motoring forum recently and someone did explain it out in layman terms
