Smelly Laundry. No Wonder, With This In The Machine....

Featured Replies

I did some laundry yesterday and then it rained all day so I left the clothes in the machine. This morning I did a rinse + spin with softener. When I took the laundry our I thought it had a bad odour and was going to wash it again thinking it was musty from standing overnight.

Then I looked in the washing machine and this is what I found.......

You found Ben!

Yep.......good investigative work.

I would have to agree with you on the source of your stench.

.....next assignment?

Nice of you to bathe him/her well before burial.

Might be a whole nest of the little critters getting warm in your machine somewhere.

You may have to keep searching for the source of the ordour.

It is not the mouse.

My girl often puts one in our washing machine when it is completing the rinse cycle.

The first time I caught her I screamed "What the bloody hell are you doing".

She said: Mai bpen rai Tirrak, make shirt squeaky clean...

I noticed our neighbor who we don't get on with, has a rat running in and out of their machine a while back . she thinks it's funny that they wash there clothes in rat detergent

Have to admit to not understanding that the 'large' Gecko droppings were in fact rat droppings. I can see it now but I thought I had some large Geckos running about crapping a lot. I had seen no evidence of the rat but now realise it had to have been in the house a week at least from the droppings.

Serve it right for jumping into my washing machine. Maybe it walked the plank. But it is certainly one hell of a drowned rat now lying in the dustbin.

Time for an extra good clean up in that area with some good disinfectant.
