I'm planning on staying in Bangkok for one month during October.

Finding a place to stay is kinda driving me crazy.

My budget is around 8000~10000 Baht. Maximum 12000 Baht.

Nice clean room in safe area and less than 10 minutes walking distance to BTS or MRT.

Must have Internet access and air conditioner.

Some of the apartments seem to be nice but I couldn't find any reviews.

Such as..110 Varin Place, BE High Suite, The Serenade, 39City Place...

Now I only have Diamond Resident and Tanatawey Places on my list but is kinda reach my maximum budget.

Desperate for some suggestions!!

No offense, but "nice, clean and safe" are pretty subjective. And then you throw in AC and internet access as added requirements. Your budget seems pretty low to me, except if you are a young backpacker. Maybe you are. I am sure it can be done.

Faced with a similar time period and a low budget, I used some cash and points from a hotel loyalty program for a few nights, and then stayed at the Citadines on soi 8.

booking.com had many listing for $20-35 per night

agoda had this one for $31 a night: Cozy At Ten Hotel ***, 1/17-19 Soi 10, Sukhumvit Rd., Sukhumvit, Bangkok, Thailand 10110

Good luck

It seems like you have done some good research already (I am surprised you found so many places so cheap). I wouldnt worry too much about reviews, just dedicate the first day of your month to having a quick look at each of those places. If they are all close to BTS stations, you could get round them all in afew hours. Probably also worth checking with them via email their minimum contract length as I would have assumed it would normally be longer than a month.

Also whether a deposit is required and if the rates include utilities. It cost me 13,500 baht (very cheap in my opinion - it cost me much less when I lived in Minburi) to just move in where I live now with a 4-month contract (but I am still here 15 months later because it's a nice neighborhood and convenient to the subway and buses)...

I wish you luck and will ask friends if they know any places. I live abt a 15 minute walk from the MRT but not aware of places that rent for a single month here, with the exception of a place I used to live and they did rent nightly when I was there though I am not sure if they still do though their website lists nightly rates, but 500 baht per night. It is probably abt a 20-25 minute walk to the MRT because down the soi a distance. Let me know and I will send u their web address via a private message.

I have found just looking going and looking on foot is the best way to find a place for me.

Best regards,

Granuaile
