Home Wanted For Thai Mix Puppy - Chiang Mai

Featured Replies

A good home wanted for a beautiful, playful, male Thai Mix puppy, aged 6 months old. Knuckles has a wonderful nature and is friendly with people and other dogs. He needs regular exercise to keep him happy. He is house-trained, good on the lead, up to date on jabs and treatments against worms, ticks and fleas. He is not neutered.

He was a temple puppy who was lucky to find us and needed a lot of love and care to heal.

I am reluctantly parting from him due to unforeseen circumstances and want to make sure he has a good loving home to go to.

He currently lives in Phuket, and I am planning to collect him when I am there at the end of September / early October.

If you can offer him a home for life, or have any questions, please contact Natasha on 085 722 6313

As you found this dog at a temple I am sure you are aware that Thais when they no longer want their dog drop them off at a temple. I presume they do this in the hope that buddha will find a home for them. I hope that you will not do as the Thais do if you are unable to find him a home.

That is one cute, lovely puppy.

Unfortunately I am up here in Chiang Mai and my home already has wall to wall cats and dogs, most of which were unwanted pets or the farang owners for some reasons could not continue caring for them. A couple of the dogs I litually picked up off the streets as puppys, almost dead from stavation.

If I had the room, even if I had to travel cross Thailand, I wouldn`t hesitate to take the dog in. But my wife says; if I take on anymore dogs, then she goes. That`s good news, because I prefer the company of dogs anytime, only I have bank accounts in her name, so it`s difficult.

I realise this is of no use to you, but I am sure someone on here is going to find your puppy irresistible and give him a home.

All I hope is, that that someone is going to be in Thailand for the rest of the dog`s lifetime, because as happens in many cases, people who`s futures are uncertain in Thailand take these dogs on without realising that a dog must be part of the family and is for life, not just for a duration of stay in Thailand.

I know that whoever gives a home, that puppy will bring good luck and love into the family, just as my dogs did.

Ideally, the puppy would be most suited for someone that has retired in Thailand and intends to stay, live and die in Thailand, the same as me. Preferably with a largish property for the dog to run around.

If someone like that were to offer a home for the pup, would the OP be willing to deliver the dog, anywhere in Thailand, for the sake and good future for the dog?
