VILLA supermarkets in general are the shame of BKK and mostly to avoid.... low hygiene standards, and they cheat all the time with the expiry date and will sell you outdated items by just placing a new expiry sticker on it.... as long as there are reliable chains such as Carrefour, Tesco, Tops, Foodland, not even for free I would accept goods from there, except canned items....

Some businesses just rake it in. Villa tilts the playing field and watches the loot slide in effortlessly. It's a terrific place to meet quality talent of the fairer sex though.

Only place to buy decent cheese and French (bread) after chucking out time....Wheres the new one going to be....

Re :low hygiene standards...got to admit that it does seem to get a little bit smelly around 3-00am but sure thats just all part of the ambience and atmosphere of the place.

There are usually a couple of rats running about outside but suppose they are only there for a late night nibble...they do however always look very well fed....
