January 29, 200620 yr Hi there Ppl. I have a very very important question. I just noticed that i bought a 16 days ticket instead of 15. Am i screwed up big time? Should i relax and pack my stuff? Or im about to miss LOS? Thank u in advance
January 29, 200620 yr I would call your airline and Royal Thai Consulate as believe Russian Federation is becoming eligible for 30 day entry without visa but not sure when. If you require visa the options would be a visa from Consulate or buying a ticket to Malaysia during the 15 days you have in Thailand and then returning to Thailand for another entry.
January 29, 200620 yr Author Thank u very much for reply there are not such thing as 30 days visa.YET. we are expecting it in march. Im flying on THAI 31 of jan. Im planning fly to KLIA, but i have no air asia ticket yet. Im planning to buy it in Bkk. So my question is: Is it okay if ill tell to any of thai officials(on depart from Moscow or on border control) that im going to reentry Thai in a week, so ill get new visa anyway? Will they take it at my word? Situation is: I have 16 days ticket, passport with a lot of Thai visas, and no any other tickets.
January 29, 200620 yr Difficult situation , can you not change ticket to 15 days only ? I have no idea if they will allow you to go in 1-2 days overstay.
January 29, 200620 yr No. You do not meet the requirements so unless the official is having a very good day you will not receive the visa. I would expect you will not even be allowed to board the aircraft to come here. If you are planning to visit KLIA why not buy your ticket now and avoid any problems; even if it may be more expensive.
January 29, 200620 yr Author what about KLIA? anyway its gonna be a e-ticket, So what am i gonna show them? an email print? or a hand-writed note? The question is not about this. question is about one simple thing. Can Thai attendants(or whoever it could be) check for my visa? Cuz as i long as im flying to thai, noone ever checked
January 29, 200620 yr what about KLIA? anyway its gonna be a e-ticket, So what am i gonna show them? an email print? or a hand-writed note?A print-out of the email that confirms your e-ticket reservation. Can Thai attendants(or whoever it could be) check for my visa?Yes, they can and it is their duty to do so. Whether they carry out this duty may be another question that nobody here can be expected to answer.Cuz as i long as im flying to thai, noone ever checkedIf you want to take the risk, it is up to you. The advice Lopburi gives is how to do it correctly, in a way that avoids any risk.-------------------- Maestro The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

January 30, 200620 yr Just got e-ticket from Hat Yai to KLIA for 50 bucks round trip(i love air asia). Will it work? Or i had to get Bangkok-depart ticket ? Should be just fine, AFAIK there is no requirement for visa-on-arrival passengers to depart from the same location as they arrived Unless, someone else knows better of course Just keep a printout of the AirAsia confirmation email with you, if someone asks you can then show something offical looking to demonstrate your booking.
