September 17, 201213 yr I'm in China right now and my wife would like to buy a small portable washing machine to bring back to CM. She said she didn't see any when we walked around BigC or Macro. Her mother bought one and loves it. Besides being light, it would cost the equivalent of 800B to 1000B. I reasoned with her that I would prefer to buy one in CM if they are available and at a similar price. Anyone know if they exist in CM and for how much? Thanks Edited September 17, 201213 yr by vagabond48
September 17, 201213 yr Good luck getting the skid marks out of your kekks with a 20 quid washing machine...
September 17, 201213 yr Please post a photo of the kind of machine you're asking about. As you might guess, there are lots of methods for cleaning one's clothes. A "small, portable washing machine" doesn't do much to help us answer your query.
September 17, 201213 yr "A small portable washing machine" really sounds like my girlfriend and a bucket

September 17, 201213 yr Seriously - I had a dutch friend who had a similar thing on his boat. He ended up having to wash anything more than "lightly soiled" by hand. They are useless, and they can't cook either

September 17, 201213 yr the photo is an agitator kind of washer. It doesn't have a spin cycle. They have them around in the 1500 baht range. I got one at Siam TV a few years ago. The motor burned out after a year or so and I had the motor replaced. It's great for underwear etc. Its good but without a spin cycle the clothes tend to accumulate dirt and lint etc. For a few thousand more can get more real ones with spin cycles.

September 18, 201213 yr Hmmmm. Interesting. my mother had one but I could never find the switch/on button! That's because they don't have a switch on button, they are voice activated. You know..... 'Mom, my clothes are dirty!' Edit. You can exchange "Mom" and use your wife's/gf's name instead. Edited September 18, 201213 yr by Semper
