Myanmar Man Injured in Train Collision While Walking on Tracks Near Pattaya
Picture from responders. The Sawang Boriboon Pattaya Rescue Centre received a report at approximately 19.00 on December 12, of a pedestrian being struck by a train on the railway tracks. The incident in front of Lek Arharn Pa restaurant, close to the Nong Ket Yai intersection in Nong Prue Subdistrict, Bang Lamung District, Chonburi Province. Upon arriving at the scene, rescue workers found the injured man, identified as Mr. A Aw, a 45-year-old Myanmar national. He suffered abrasions all over his body and complained of pain in his right shoulder. First aid was administered before he was transported to Bang Lamung Hospital for further treatment. According to Mr. A Aw, he was walking along the railway tracks when he heard the train’s horn but was unable to move out of the way in time. As a result, his shoulder was struck by the side of the train, causing him to be thrown along the trackside, luckily away from the train. Rescue officials stated that upon their arrival, they found the single train unit, without carriages, stopped at the location, with the injured man lying beside the tracks. Immediate assistance was provided to ensure his safety and transport him to the hospital. The train driver reported that he spotted the man walking ahead of the train along the tracks, so sounded his horn. As the man did not get off the tracks he applied the brakes and continued to sound the horn. The train was slowing, but unable to stop before striking the casualty. An investigation into the incident is ongoing as to why the casualty was on the tracks and why he was unable to get out of the way. Authorities will also test for alcohol and drugs and look at his legal status. -- 2024-12-13 -

Don't worry. Trump will fix everything. He will put on his cape and change into his Super MAGA costume and go fly up to the drones and crush them in his hands. And Mexico will pay for his dry cleaning bill. 😭 -
