Can we not just stop talking/writing about this guy?!?

He has not been in Thailand for 6 years, he is a convicted refugee, and only makes problems!

Let's just ignore him COMPLETELY!!! No more free publicity (good/bad). No more mentioning him in TV...

What surprises me is Singapore's accepting his visit !!

73 Billion Baht is a lot of money.... even in Singapore.

Thaksin, 63, said he visited Singapore to watch a Formula One race as a guest of Temasek Holdings Pte, which bought the telecommunications firm he founded in 2006.

.

Why is anyone surprised? Singapore has been good friends to the Burmese generals, Robert Mugabe, North Korea, the late Suharto, and many more. Lots of money comes into Singapore from these "friends".

Why should they not ??

The rest of the world does not regard him as a criminal.

( I might, but I'm not the rest of the world.....)

And that in red is the comment that many anti Thaksin posters on this forum cannot or will not accept. He is not viewed as a crimminal to the rest of the world and your life would be a little less stressful if you went to sleep at night (under your Abhisit duvet) accepting this.

How does the world view a justice sytem that sentences a man under military dictatorship yet allows a pro military supporter, Sondhi, walk scott free when he should only have fish heads and porridge as his menu options for the next 20 years.

Thaksin is not a statesman he is THE STATESMAN of Thailand and if you want to be in the game then you have to invite him for lunch. Is the world wrong and some forum poster right....I dont think so

We'll only know that what you state as fact about the entire world thinking that Thaksin is not a criminal, the day that the world declares: we think Thaksin is not a criminal.

At the moment the only thing you are basing your statement on is the fact that he has been granted short stay visas in a number of countries. Funny but i don't recall when he was not being granted those short stay visas a couple of years ago, you coming on here and declaring: well there you have it folks, Thaksin is clearly a criminal.
