Hi all,

For a little hobby project, I am looking to buy about 1000 dice. Just plain normal 6 sided dice, used in a board game.

I am putting together a board game about Chiang Mai.

Anyone knows where to buy this? I have been looking around, but with gambling being illegal it seems very difficult to find them.

I live in Chiang Mai, so getting them here would be ideal, but if I find them somewhere else in Thailand I could get them sent over here.

If you're happy with those sharp cornered wooden dice, you could probably try thaiwoodengames.com in Sankamphaeng. There's also wonderworldtoys.com in Pathum Thani who produce quality wooden dice to package with their games (not sure if they would sell them separately, and not sure if they have numbered dice / dice with pips).

Your next best bet is to order from abroad (Chessex, Koplow, ...). For Chinese manufacturers, alibaba might help.

Battlefield Bangkok or PlaySpaceCM might be able to import them for you if you don't want the hassle.

Or ask the same question at the thaiboardgames.net forum (hope this reference is OK with forum rules. It's nothing like the wooden portal forum).
