I am thinking to buy new honda click 125i

What honda dealer in Pattaya has the best prices?

Is this price list valid?

http://www.motorcycl...ycle_Price_List

What extras i should consider to bargain same time.?

I am falangsize so maby better tyres and "springs" or what ever the correct word is

Anything else i need to know. I have never bought before. Only rented. I have one year B-visa if that matters

I am not so good with tecnical stuff so Is there some "serviceprogram" also included ?

That price list is wrong or out of date, the top of the range Click 125I, 'helmet in' is missing and costs 51,700bht.

Helmet in = combi brakes, mag wheels, idle stop

The cheapest, wire wheels is approx 48,700

Middle model, combi brakes, mag wheels approx 50,200

I was given a cheap helmet and a jacket with mine, jacket is very useful, helmet is rubbish.

500Km oil change free of charge inc oil.

Spring is fine as it is. Tyres are good.

I paid an extra 2,100 on the price for a two year loss or theft insurance policy that they offer everyone.

Thanks for the info TommoPhysicist smile.png

What was the location of this sale or are there any differences in prices with different honda dealers in Pattaya?

Any main dealer will give the same price (about 500bht variation)

Don't make the mistake of going to a small shop, they won't have the colour you want to drive away.

The bigger shops keep stock of all colours, and you pay cash and wait about 1 hour while they pour in the oil and test drive it. Then it's yours to drive away.

Get the top model with 'idle stop' at only 3k more than the base model, why not.

O.k, Thanks good to know..

I think i will go to some shop on thepparasit road near me where i have seen honda signs

And 'idle stop' of course i`ll take that also.smile.png

Before you buy a Click check if it's comfortable for you as i found them too small for a farang size man.

The Air Blade is slightly longer and the PCX too is better suited for larger people.

For an alternative make try the Yamaha Nouvo.

Thanks for the replies

I think i will go tomorrorw or day after tomorrow to see different shops..

I got tip saying mai tai soi bukhau maby will give me better deal than other shops..

As far of pcx. I think it is comfortable and nice bike to ride but too big to drive and park tight places which important for the use i need the bike..

Note to Sotsira.

The new Click 125i (2012) is much bigger than the now defunct Airblade.

Click seat 5" higher than Airblade

Click handlebars 6" higher than Airblade

I should know, I have both.

I am also interested to purchase a new 125i click, base model with spoked wheels.

The dealer quoted 46,800 baht for the motorbike, but when I asked how much for everything assuming taxes or transfer cost, I was offered special price at 50,100 baht drive away.

Can anyone describe what the 3,300 baht gap is?

What is the going rate for this model including all costs?

Greed, find another dealer.

(I already posted the drive away prices)

Another dealer described the price breakdown:

46,800 bike, 1,000 insurance/tax/transfer, 2,000 theft insurance, 300 red plate, total 50,100.

Theft Insurance is optional, I wouldn't bother with it for the base model, but up to you.

48,100 is a good price.

I take it you're joking about not taking theft insurance. Bike theft is rampant in Pattaya. Why would you suggest this ?

I thought that was mainly rental companies 'stealing' their bikes back to rip off tourists.

No theft at all where I live (of anything).

The best price I found was at the Honda on Pattaya Klang across from Big C extra.

The cheapest click, tune up model is: 46,000 + 1,200 for tax gov. insurance and red plate.

Price includes 1 free oil change at 1,000kms and 2 cheap helmets

All up is 47,200 drive away

My GF has a Click and I was firstly impressed with its looks. Secondly its more than capable of taking us both (she drives and I ride pillion). Probably looks a little odd cos I am 6' 4" and 110kg, but its very stable and responsive. Good all round piece of kit.

She also told me its been 100% trouble free from day 1 and its now done some 10,000km in 18 months.

This is not the 2012 Click 125i.

Different frame, larger petrol tank, bigger engine, better fuel consumption, bigger under seat space.

Have been looking at the Click, and about ready to buy. I have heard that you can get tubeless tires, with mags, but the sales people say no, except by putting the wheels from the Pcx on it, which are smaller in diameter. The problem is, like most places, their english is not so good, so when I ask something, its usually with a blank stare, and then say "yes", so I have no clue, if they really understand or not.

As like everyone else, getting a bit tired of flats every other week, with the tube tires. Also at one shop they did say they could change, but it would be modified, and the warranty would not be valid. Whether that meant the warranty for the whole bike or just the wheels, I dont know.

If anyone has bought a Click with mags, and tubeless, I would like to know.

Cannot help you directly but to say we have the new click for 6 weeks now with the standard mag wheels and have not had a flat or loss of air – if that helps ?

My Suzuki Hyate 125i is up for sale.

18 months old, 2700 km.

I've just sold my 5 year old Hayate to get the new Click. I loved that bike but times move on and I really like the idea of the idle stop thingy :)

Just got the 'clicki idle stop' from the Pattaya Klang shop opposite 'Big C Extra' - B55,500 all in (reg, theft insurance, free helmets if you want etc).

Just checking the receipt the bike alone was B51,800

Yeh, mine was about the same from a dealer in Chonburi.

52k plus 1300 for reg and insurance.

I paid a little extra to get a personal number on the plate smile.png 500b

That's with Mag wheels.

I also put on a red YSS rear shock to complete the look hehe. 900b

I can't see the point in buying new.

Plenty of good second hand bikes on the market with considerable savings on the new bikes.

That new bike aroma is one of the most expensive fragrances you will ever buy.

All bikes have got the idle stop thingy. I turn my engine off at traffic lights then start it up on green.

I've had a Mio for 6 years years which I bought 2nd hand. Great little bike and still goes well. Sometimes it's nice to give yourself a little treat.

For a farang i think the Yamaha Nouvo SX is a better bet (with 2 shocks) and it's only a few k more. The Hondas always seem very flimsy to me.

not all of us are fat
