60 Days Extension Of Stay Married To Thai National Possible?

I've been working for several years in Thailand. However, I will cease employment with the current employer per 30 October 2012.

Am I eligble for a 60 days extension of stay according to rule 2.24 of Police Order 777/2551? I might need those 60 days to find other employment.

2.24 In the case of visiting a spouse or children who are of Thai nationality: Permission shall be granted for one time and no more than 60 days.
