Please advise if you know of any Thai TV channels that will carry the debates. Internet streaming is out as I live in the country. Do have PSI satellite.

I was just going to post 'where can I get an internet streaming feed of the debate tomorrow??', as I have no TV, other than the local Thai channels on regular broadcast tv, but have decent internet speeds in the morning. Any info on local broadcast TV or internet streaming coverage??????

President Barack Obama and Republican Presidential nominee Mitt Romney will be going head-to-head over the next month as they take part in four highly-anticipated televised debates.

However, YouTube has announced today that for the first time these clashes, which will be pivotal for each candidate’s Presidential campaign, will be broadcast live and unaltered through the YouTube Elections Hub.

The video giant also promises to make the full debates, including highlight clips, available to watch at any time as soon as they are finished.

It’s a significant move if only because traditionally, these topical clashes are only broadcast in America through recognised television channels. In the past anyone who has an interest in US politics – but happens to live outside of the country – has been forced to do a bit of digging in order to find a decent live stream, or make do with the many live blogs running simultaneously.

YouTube has partnered with ABC News, who will also be live streaming the four debates on its ABC News YouTube channel, to make all of this happen for the very first time.

However, in addition to the live stream there will also be additional commentary and analysis being produced by the eight YouTube Election Hub partners; Al Jazeera English, BuzzFeed, Larry King, New York Times, Phil DeFranco, Univision, the Wall Street Journal and ABC News.

We’ll let you make up your own mind about which of them are actually worth following.

Political "issues" aren't being discussed. The question is how to find and watch something when in Thailand. I call that Thailand related. It's certainly living in Thailand and expat help related.

I use a free downloadable program called "GetIt" to download and save any video files which are running on my Windows computer. I don't know if it works with Mac. Even with a slow internet connection, it would just slowly download the YouTube vid and when finished I could watch it at full speed from my hard disk.

the time/date as confirmed by 'democrats abroad' is Oct. 4, 8-10 a.m. for Thailand

Why would you want to watch either these two second rate clowns BS about what they are going to do when neither plans to do anything except maintain the status quo. That being of course the transfer of wealth to the upper class and pumping money into failed, thieving fraudulent bamkers, same thing really. The days of American presidents that actually believed in anything has long passed. Wake up and see reality. And if reality continues to elude you then please spare the rest of us.
