I like my CBR250 very much, its quick enough for me and handles very nicely too..my only complaint is the handlebar position which for me is too low and after an hour or so on the bike my wrists are killing me

I would like to know if any company are doing a replacement top yolk with proper handlebar brackets on it that would enable standard bars to be fitted?

I think the screen would have to cut and modified slightly to accomodate this along with a longer clutch cable and brake hose

but really it would be an easy fix if a yolk was available

anybody tried to do this or know how it can be done?

I've had no less than 5 different handlebar made for my chopper,

most if not all big bike repair shop will know where to send the order,

so just tell your nearest shop what you want

You will need new cables for thottle clutch etc if difference is big

For the "Pimp My Ride' crowd there are riser sets you can get through Mityon. There's a machined alloy plate for the triple tree, risers that bolt on and tubes for handle bars. Around 7000 baht

How long have you had the bike?

I ask, because that used to happen to me too, but after a while it stopped. Something to do with using muscles you didn't previously use I imagine. I've also read it could be about how you sit on the bike.

i never have issues with my wrist although my handlebars are down 4 cm than the original.

But, Bikers and tyga has adjustable handlebars if you feel uncomfortable.

Keep in mind that, raising it will affect handling not in a good way.

.....or just sell it and buy a comfortable chopper,

but do take note on making a test-ride dressed in only shorts & flip-flops,

as some of them are built dumb with the exhaust touching the leg/foot
