In the context of the OP I would like to see PM jump to first unread post and editing of PM's on the Android App. A complete overhaul of the PM system is another matter altogether. I agree with theblether that it can be a useful tool for letting off steam from time to time and chatting with friends. The limit of 10 people is annoying at times though.
