dppinth
5 month ago my friend has bought new toyota hillux . He paid 986000 thb, and made first class insurance . Two weeks ago he had An accident, car drowned. He took his car to toyota service, and they tell him price for fix 1030000 thb . Total payment in his 1 st class insurance is 790000 , but he want to take money from this company and fix by himself. For fix this company gives only 340000 , question is: why they give such small money for fix? He want more money for fix, but he doesn't know how to take it from company. stevenl
Your friend would need to check the policy conditions to see what he is entitled to. Without that your query can not be answered.

samran
Most insurance companies have a network of repairers where you need to go have your car fixed. Works the same in most places of the world. Generally helps to company provide a certain reliable level of service to their customers. When you buy insurance you generally also agree to use their preferred service providers, for which they will provide coverage. Obviously, your friend is 'outside' that network, so they obviously don't have to cover him.
ThailandBert
When you say car " drowned " i'm presuming you mean it was flooded ? When it was flooded was he driving it or was the car parked and was flooded ? I think your friend has a big problem !
