The autobiography of Bo Kyaw Zaw, a former leader of the Burmese Communist Party and one of the “Thirty Comrades†credited with helping Burma achieve independence from British colonial rule, will be published in Burma for the first time later this month. The book, first published in Thailand in 2007,    recounts the 93-year-old’s political career, much of which he has spent in exile in China. Burma’s censors previously banned any mention of Bo Kyaw Zaw’s name, but last month, government peace negotiator Aung Min invited him to return to the country to visit Shwedagon Pagoda.
