Pakistan and Greek suspects arrested in Pattaya motorbike theft ring case

PATTAYA:--A foreign national, thought to be involved in a recent motorbike theft case, reported by us on Thursday, has now been formally identified and a further man has been arrested and accused of his involvement in a foreign-run motorbike theft ring in Pattaya.

Police Major General Katcha, Provincial Police Commander, held a press conference at Pattaya Police Station on Friday to confirm the arrest of Mr. Ipekci Arminak aged 25, a Greek passport Holder who was born in Turkey and Mr. Nadeem Ejaz aged 35 from Pakistan, who had entered Thailand on a fake Greek passport. He was also in possession of a fake Portuguese passport and driving licenses in fake names from Malta and Greece.

Mr. Ejaz had been arrested on Thursday but further investigations led to the arrest of Mr. Arminak on Friday on Pattaya Second Road. Their bike of choice was the Honda PCX and 5 of them reportedly rented from shops around Pattaya and not returned in accordance with the rental agreements and worth approximately 75,000 Baht each were recovered by Police.

Give the 'Bubble & squeak' a break he was just trying to help his counties failing economy! And like his countries Gov. failed miserably!

They appear to have purposely traveled here to commit the thefts, I hope they get whats coming to them!

No Greek anywhere around

In Greece a few years ago many people from other countries got Greek passport due to a tailor made law just to vote at the elections and a specific political party to take advantage of their votes... Probably he was one of them...
