Hi there,

I'm planning on flying into the LOS and getting the 30 day visa on my oz passport that is due to expire in 12 months and doesn't have that many pages left.

I plan to go to the Aust consulate and getting a new passport.

Will I have to visit that Immigration building out in the middle of no-where in the Bangkok suburbs to get them to stamp me again?

many thanks

Not unless you are overstay - which you might be depending on when you apply for new passport and how long it takes to get it. Normal procedure for new passport when not on extension of stay or overstay is to present both on exit.

Does this have to be at an airport or could it be say at Mae sai land crossing? I have a 60 day tourist visa and a new blank passport.
