Sunday Ride

Featured Replies

For those who have said they would do it for years and have not. Or those who have gone and want to go again. This Sunday, tomorrow, we will be going on a Samoeng Loop ride.

Any bike is welcome but I know a few newbies on their scooters will be going along. And I will be taking my Honda Wave.

The ride once you head out of Chiang Mai is very peaceful and quiet. Speed is not an issue with all the loops and twist and turns, speed is kept to a minimum. We will do a lunch stop in Samoeng and a stop at the caves to explore some. In all about 5 hours but really not that many km well under 100

We will meet about 8:30 from near the Airport Big C So PM me if you want more info. Check your tires, fill up your tank and head out for a wonderful ride. The weather has been perfect for this the last few days

Wonderful ride. Just over 100 km in total. cooler in the mountains. fun exploring the Mae Sae Caves and a crazy lunch.

7 in total and we decided to make it a monthly thing for find a day ride. And if someone wants to go along with out a bike, some seats were avalable.

Next month down the river . . .

Think we saw you parked up by the road side at the start of the road to Samoeng, a white Wave and PCX if I remember right. We headed off on back roads after Samoeng through Ban Bok, Mae Pa and back on the main road at the X Centre.

Had a good ride except for losing 4th gear.

Actually in Samoeng I mentioned to the guys that I thought I recognised you with another guy sitting in that bamboo house, drinking...we were on the way to that cave

Bummer. Just saw this. I would have been up for the ride. I agree with @kaptainrob ... a bit more notice would get you a lot more participation.

I think Jeffrey likes to be spontaneous!

We did suggest he gives more notice next month; but todays ride was very pleasant.

It was a coffee before the drink driving crusaders jump in and attack!
