Rainy Season Over Now?

Featured Replies

Is the rainy season officially over now? It's suppose to end Mid October right or is it mid November?

My guess is that it is probably mostly over, but there might be another storm or two.

Over here in Buriram we had a few foggy mornings. My wife claimed that this meant the end of the rainy season, and of course I ridiculed this. Since then, nary a drop or a rain cloud in sight.

Yes, it's over. Ulysses is right though that you could still have an afternoon shower, most likely at the moment before there's a real temperature drop.

Note how all the Low pressure centers have moved South:

Pretty bright out at the moment and warm but comfortable.

Thanks again for this, weather looks perfect for me. Starting to get cold and clamy over here where I am. Time to escape.

It's officially over.

Tonight I went to the Walking Street market on Ratchadamnoen, and it did not rain.

The cool morning fogs and clear starry nights up here in Pai now usually mean it's over, although we had a brief thundershower yesterday afternoon.

Pick a day, any odd day this week, and wash your car or moto, see what Mother Nature dishes up. You'll get your answer.

Twenty minutes of heavy downpours + strong winds in the Ban Sala area of Canal Road last early evening so I am told.We had the strong wind without the rain.
