Man impaled on his own motorbike during high speed crash in East Pattaya

PATTAYA:--Just before 2am on Sunday, rescue services were called to the scene of a single-vehicle road accident close to an East Pattaya village whereby a 24 year old drunk motorbike driver became impaled on part of his own bike.

Medics rushed to the scene and attended to Khun Sarawut who witnesses saw driving at a high rate of speed when he came off his motorbike in Soi Baan Chang next to the entrance of Sansuk Town Village. It soon became apparent that part of the brake lever had embedded itself inside his left hand.

Police confirmed a strong odor of alcohol and medics suspect his level of intoxication was masking the pain he should have been feeling,
