October 22, 201213 yr Acer, the world’s fourth-largest personal computer maker, is thinking of opening up an office in Burma, according to a report by The Bangkok Post. The company recently established a new US $1.6 million service and maintenance center in Thailand to serve as a hub for Burma, Laos and Cambodia, and is now considering setting up offices in each of these countries, the report said, noting that Burma would be a priority due to its large population. October 22, 201213 yr Interesting that the article says Acer is 'thinking about' setting up a store here - there is a brand new Acer store around the corner on Mahabandoola Street... I guess they are already here.
