Is Thailand A Last Resort For Saddos

Featured Replies

Thoughts.

IMO, yes. Very often.

I think you are thinking of Clacton-on-Sea.

The saddos normally go there once they are washed-out in Pattaya.

No, there's always Cambodia when failure in Thailand bites.

Most farangs I see in Thailand seem exceptionally happy.

I have to say that if I had discovered Cambodia first, I wouldn't have bothered with Thailand.

I've just read another thread on this forum. The thread invites farangs to describe their first day in Thailand.

With few exceptions, first-day "activities" include hookers and booze.

I've heard bad things about Cambodia, and tend to agree that Phnom Penh is lower down the scale than Thailand.

Countsaintgermain do you holiday/live in Thailand?

I'm surprised this thread lasted this long.

I'm surprised this thread lasted this long.

Why would you care about the longevity of a thread on an anonymous internet forum?

And therein, of course, lies the answer to my initial question.

I didn't say I cared. I said I was surprised.

Sorry, english not being my first language, what is the meaning of "saddos" ?

bit of a cliche that IMO . If you got done over in Thailand you'll probably get eaten alive in Cambodia.

What I mean by that is that if you are the type of person who fails then you are going to fail a lot more in your ventures in Cambo.

The last resort is not Thailand, but ThaiVisa.

You post this when your Nickname is " Whybother" . You must be a fly guy. wai2.gif

Look at the thread again that invites farangs to discuss their experiences on the first day they came Thailand. It's (mostly) all about whoring.

How could you do similar things in, say, Bahrain or Malaysia.

Point is: most farangs view Thailand as a last resort.

It's saddo central (though I do agree that more discerning saddos will head to Phnom Penh).

English is my first language,I have no idea what "saddos" is.
