Does anyone know when the Poppy Appeal begins in Bangkok & locations where we can make a donation ? Also other areas around Thailand for other members.

This November 11th is going to be a hard one for me as I lost the last member of our family who served, he fought in Europe & I'm thinking of heading up to River Kwai for the day, does anyone know how they mark the day ? or suggestions of what to do in Bangkok.

there is an event this year called the Kwai Challenge and a lot of members will be in kanchanaburi on 11th, also the service is still being held at the embassy in Bangkok,

the poppy boxes will go out this week to the usual bars around sukhumvit and sathorn, and also the international schools.

may sound daft i just say my little prayer to the fallen, to myself,

the kwai bridge is a solumn place, but as good as any to say your prayer,

125,000 souls lost there,
