Nice Day Out For The Kids!

Featured Replies

I read on here (but can not find the post) about the Temple on the Mae Jo/Sansai Road, so went to check it out.

Wow....what a place, truly unbelievably graphic!

This place has to be a place to visit for any tourist.....place was empty when I was there.

I have been to a similar one a few years ago in Phayao, but this one leaves it for dust.

Worth a visit, would be awesome at night but apparently they can only afford the lighting every now and then, on Loy Kratong (when the lanterns are released at near the Uni) it will be lit up.

Not really one for the kids! wink.png

Got to love a religion where you can go to a house of worship and watch torture porn.

Meanwhile, let's vaseline out every nipple and alcoholic beverage depiction everywhere else. ;)

Depiction of Hell. I thought the temple in Phayao was the only one. I've been to that one. Where about in Mae Jo is this temple? Thanks.

I posted about this, with some photos, on my own website in January 2011. They were still doing some new construction at the time. You can click here, if you care to have a look. It also has more directions and GPS coordinates. There are actually a number of temples in Thailand with similar depictions. I don't that I would really recommend it for young kids though,
