AirAsia promotion of free seats...I tried booking BKK/SIN/BKK this morning from the promotion date 1 May to 30 Sept....yes tried from May to Sept, there is not a single free seat...

Indeed, pure hoax, they advertise Chiang Rai for 107 baht all in and there are none, all are over 1000 baht, and almost one year in advance, this time it is a huge fail from AA.

I will let you in on another secret, I have got promotional prices every time I have tried, last one a few weeks ago during their last free seats promotion.

I didn't try during the current promotion as we have other plans.

I would be interested to learn where you got your insider information that only Air Asia staff and their families get the promotional prices.

There were two seats available free to Chiang Rai. They were available at midnight. I did not book them but obviously somebody did......here is what I posted onto a well known travel forum.

The Big Air Asia x sale has just started..I did a test booking just now. Only 214 baht return Bangkok/Chiang Rai
