February 6, 200620 yr Hello, I plan on flying to both Cambodia and the Philippines within my 45 day stay in Thailand. Each flights are round trip from bangkok. Which means, I will be entering Thailand 3 times, once upon my arrival from the USA, once from a return flight from Cambodia, and once from a retrun flight from the Philippines. I currently have a tourist visa stamp in my passport for my first arrival to Bangkok. What do I need to have done prior to my flights to Cambodia and the Philippines? As I don't want any problems re-entering Thailand.... Thanks, Slim
February 6, 200620 yr As far as I can see you should be fine. Your visa will allow you to enter for 60 days and each subsequent arrival will net you a 30-day stamp. Topic moved to the Thai visa and residency forum. Scouse.

So I won't be needing any re-entry permits? So your basically saying upon my return trips from Cambodia and the Philippines, Thai immigration will give me a fresh 30 days per return. Will I still need to show my return flight to the USA ? Regards, Slim
February 6, 200620 yr As far as I'm aware, it is a condition of the 30-day entry that you need a confirmed ticket out of the country but, in my experience, I've never been asked to show it. Scouse.
February 7, 200620 yr Assuming you are flying to Cambodia and the Philippines (not a lot of choice there really) you MAY be denied boarding on your return leg to Thailand if you don't have an onward air ticket within 30 days. Make sure you take your onward tickets with you so that you can show them to the check-in staff if necessary. I was asked for my onward ticket when returning from the Philippines in december, had to find my visa for the nice check-in lady (she'd already gone through my passport twice and not seen it) before she would let me on the flight. If you are using a land crossing you don't need the onward ticket although you may be asked to demonstrate means to live in Thailand (10,000 Baht I believe). "I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"
February 7, 200620 yr Hi, you did not mention if you have a "full" ticket already or if you are planning to purchase each roundtrip separately. In any case you are fine with yr tourist visa. Once you re-enter Thailand you will get automaticly a 30 days stay. Rules are that you have a cfm onward ticket n THB10.000.- for living expenses , but I have never been asked for these requirements.
