Pity a serious magazine like Forbes asks such naive questions and allows him a monthpiece to spew such nonsense half-truths, without asking more probing questions on the real reason he lives in Exile.

Do you think that he would stick around for 5 minutes if he was asked a difficult question?

I'd love to see him on Hard Talk, and not the cosy chat ones they do

I read to the middle of page 3,of the Forbes article, and couldn't take any more!sick.gif

Go and have a cup of tea man and read the rest ;)

As for the rest of you, I want you all to tune in your metaphoric internet forum ears and listen carefully for the usual Thaksin Red Adoration Mob (TRAM), listen....listen hard, what can you hear....the sound of .....tumbleweed! Phew! Thought it was just me, then again maybe they all go for happy hour at 4pm, I guess they will be back in a few hours.

When she was 35 year old she became CEO of AIS, the biggest mobile phone operator in Thailand. At that time, we had 40 million subscribers

Either he's talking <deleted> or she really screwed up and lost 20 million subscribers while she was CEO.

Why bother ( no pun intended there ) about a white lie more or less once he's going.

Yes! there does seem to be a lack of conviction in TRAMs argument these days, surely it couldn't be Reality and Truth has finally got through to them?

Mind you they haven't got an easy job, supporting the indefensible Thaksin, who makes so many blatant contradictions and lies,to his own public statements it's enough to do anyone's head in.

"She is new." She has to call up Brother Number One to find out what to do. If this is so, how on earth can a country that takes itself seriously end up with her as Prime Minister?

It's an embarrassment to all thinking Thais, and they certainly made a point of that at the rally last Sunday.

Thaksin's interview has added more to the humiliation of the Thai people. And he has no idea of how outrageous his comments are.

Something's gotta give.

Actually the humiliation in the first instance is for Yingluck. He knows that the establishment is is prepared to live with Yingluck as the PM and the backing down from putting Jatuporn in the cabinet will have strengthened her position. So what better than to announce that she is under his direction, sorry advice, and publicly pull her down a notch.

It's got to be a severe loss of Face for Yingluck too,she must be fuming.

For some strange reason, I rather like Thaksin, (maybe because I live in the North) but I think Yingluck and Thaksin had different fathers, They hardly look alike, do they?

A recent poll showed that the most liked politician in Thailand by far was Yingluck Shinawatra, followed closely by her brother Thaksin. That is news hard to swallow for most TV posters, but the political reality of Thailand. And no they weren't paid 500 Baht to participate in the poll.

It can't be easy running a country from abroad.

If it is that difficult, with his sister as PM, his cousin as FM, and his relatives in the police, perhaps it is time that he overcame his yellow belly cowardice issues and came back then.

Maybe his sister will "overcome" him back to Thailand.

What was the poll? Do you have a link please?
