A shame, i thought McDermott was doing a good job given his resources. Manager of the month in January, can't really see anyone else coming in and doing better at this stage of the season. The fit and proper person test is surely unfit for purpose, you would have thought the lesson would have been learned with the Israeli Gaydamark clan and the debacle at Portsmouth, but no. I don't see much in that article that would rule that Russian out on 'fit and proper person' grounds. Nothing proven, loads of conjecture and actually, in the context of the Russian Wild West (same as US in its development phase), pretty tame stuff.
