Mr. Pongsak admits mega-projects' foreign investors have questioned about the government’s stability

Transport Minister Pongsak Raktapongpaisal (พงษ์ศักดิ์ รักตพงศ์ไพศาล) has admitted that foreign investors who are interested in various mega-projects of the government have questioned about the stability of the government.

He said it is deemed normal for them to obtain political information for their investment decisions. However, he indicated that they do not have any doubt about the government’s stability, and he has assured them that this government administration will last its 4-year term.

Mr. Pongsak stated that the progresses of mega-projects are running smoothly and there are no obstacles as the news have reported.

Moreover, the Transport Minister revealed that the government will try its best to build investors’ trust on this matter as to avoid any impact on the development of the country since the investment will be in long term and the stability issues will definitely have an effect on the investment.

Finally, he said that the rally proceeding in peace will not affect foreign investment.
