my victor dispenser had gone recently, any idea where could i get cheap water dispenser? homepro doesnt carry victor dispenser anymore, they used to carry other basic models for 2999 baht but now it seems to stock only the higher end stuff at 8k baht blink.png

i just need the basic cold function, no need for heater, or filter biggrin.png

I've been looking for a really simple ceramic cold water dispenser for years here. It's the type that you put on a counter top and the bottom is a simple ceramic vessel that holds about a gallon and has a water tight gasket that holds the big bottle and a spigot for water out. Anyone seen one of those??

Hmm, ever considered a large jug of water in the fridge, low tech admitedly but the water is ah...cold. Cost = zero.

nope but i considered having a cup of cold water straight from my bedroom instead of walking to the kitchen downstairs.

of course i could go down for a quick grab or just drink room temperature water at zero cost but hey thats not the point.

If that's all you want/need, why not just get a thermos bottle with ice and water or even simpler and cheaper.....freeze a plastic bottle of drinking water..............problem solved!!

But my problem.....still looking for one of those ceramic water dispensers that you just put the 5 gallon water bottle on and it has a spigot.

so simple and if I can figure how to post a photo, I'll do it in a separate post so I don't hijack your thread.

Yes you mean one of these ( I think they are called water crocks )

I had one in the States but have not seen them here, yet

To the OP I have seen the regular electric water coolers in Home Pro & Carrefore I believe

But it uses electric so you might be better served with one of those tiny refrigerators

instead. Since your bedroom is so far from the kitchen you could keep a few things in there

Siam TV have a range of coolers, I have no idea how competitively priced they are though.

Jaideeguy, yes I know what you're looking for as well. I'll give you a shout if I ever come across one.

Yes they do seem to keep the water nice & cool naturally.

I did see someone mention Makro once but never looked

I live in just a condo now & the fridge I have has cool water dispenser on the door.
