Pattaya: the recently launched restaurant and art gallery, belonging to a well known Thai musician, were robbed overnight on Tuesday

Police received a report from the shop and restaurant manager after he discovered the robbery and was able to supply copies of CCTV recordings, showing the villain as he entered and left the property.

Described as a man of short stature, 1.6 Metres tall, the robber broke into the shop in the early hours of the morning but probably didn’t bargain for the good quality CCTV which reveals him to short, 30-35 years old with a moustache. He did however, manage to get away with the days turnover of 13,000 baht, together with mobile phones and a notebook PC

The restaurant belongs to a 36 year old Thai country music singer and was only launched in September in Theprasit road, Pattaya. In addition to being a restaurant, the building also offers customers the chance to purchase from an art gallery upstairs. No works of art were disturbed during the robbery.

  • 3 months later...

IS it the Thepprasit wine bar that is ALWAYS empty ?

Never seen a customer there and it seemed anyway evidence that it was a stupid idea to open ts business there, but I guess the owner is reach enough and don't care ?
