Rachaburi (ราชบุรี) province prepares to prevent fire and forest fires during summer.

Rachaburi governor Wongsak Sawaspanich (วงศ์ศักดิ์ สวัสดิ์พาณิชย์) revealed that during December to April, the weather in Thailand is dry and windy, which could lead to forest fires and other fire incidents, causing damages to lives and properties of the people and government agencies.

He said that to prepare for the incidents, the province has set up a disaster prevention center at the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office in Muang district.

He said that the people can contact the center at 0-3222-7554, 0-3222-7538, or at fax numbers 0-3222-7536, 0-3222-7555.
