merijn Posted November 17, 2012 Share Posted November 17, 2012 The visa extension has to be cancelled by you on the same day as the WP is cancelled. Only you can cancel your visa extension. ( the company can’t do this ) After this you can buy a 7 day extension to get things organized. digitalchromakey Posted November 17, 2012 Share Posted November 17, 2012 If it is a Non Immigrant Type 'B' Single or Multiple Entry Visa (obtained outside of Thailand) and not an Extension of Permission to Stay (obtained inside of Thailand) then it (Visa plus any associated 90 day Permission to Stay Stamp) is not affected by the cancellation of a Work Permit/Closure of the Business.
