Can anybody please give some info' where there is a GUM clinic/STI/STD testing clinic in Phuket and opening hours etc... Much thanks for your help in advance. If there are signs, he doesn't need screening, he needs treatment, they will know which one he has. Riley'sLife Posted November 18, 2012 Share Posted November 18, 2012 Why bother with one of the Private hospitals when you could use the facilities of a Thai Government hospital if you are concerned at the high cost. Many Specialists in the Private hospitals only work there part-time, having their main job at a Govt. hospital. You will find the costs to be a fraction of the cost of a Private hospital, although you may have to wait around for a while to see the Specialist after first being seen by a GP.
