Hey everyone,

My Thai Mrs and I lived together for 8 yr sin Thailand, I have now returned to UK. She got a famaily visit visa and stayed for a month recently and now we are at the stage where we will apply for a visa for her to come and live here.

My question is regarding the English test, obviously this needs to be in place before applying for a visa so where do you begin? She lives on Samui, can she do it there? does she have to do it online?

thanks for any advice

cheers mate, to be honest the people and packages that help you do these things are an unnecessary cost. Everyone said use one when getting married in Thailand but it was all simple enough and again doing a visit visa application is simple.

I have found the answer now, there are a few test centres around Thailand and they are all run commercially rather than it being part of the application process.

I started a topic about the TOEIC English Test a few months ago. If you can search that there is quite a lot of info and advice there. Bottom line is I recommend the BULATS test run by Vantage in Bangkok. Contact Kevin Cullen.

Some people struggle with forms and have to use them. That aside, I didnt mean yse the poster known as visaplus for your mrs visa - I meant contact him regards the English test, he is a UKBA accreditted centre. Or, contact Vantage Siam.

Cheers and good luck.
