Wifey and I moved to a new place ONE day after my last 90 day report. Therefore, I will report a different address the next time I go to immigration.

Question: Is the change of address even noticed by the immigration officer? If so, does this trigger a battery of follow-up questions?

The last time I went, I saw that there was a computer terminal at the desk where I sat across from the officer, but she never even touched it. So there was no opportunity for her to pull up my previous report and do any sort of comparison. She quickly reviewed my passport, gave me the slip of paper with the barcode and stamp on it, and I was on my way. I was in that chair for perhaps 45 seconds max.

I'm just wondering if anyone else who has changed their address has experienced differently.

Why would it trigger follow up questions ?...this is the purpose of the 90 day report...they want to know where you are in Thailand...90 days ago you were staying at one address, and on this report you have changed the address, they have the record that all it is..

Indeed it could trigger question and yes they do enter directly into computer at many locations. I would have some proof of residence/copy available in case asked.

I think that you are supposed to file form TM28 with the new immigration office within 24 hours of moving. I don't know if they enforce it or what the penalty is if you don't. I have moved at least 5 times durinfg the last 14 years and have never filed the form and was never asked any questions as I always had the documnetation for the new address when I did my next 90 day report.
