Probably from a batch of new plants, but within a few weeks they were everywhere...hundreds of them.

So Googled the problem and the suggestions were Zebra Loaches.....so went to the flower and fish market by Tesco on the ring road.Found some at 1,500 baht-5200 baht each.!!

Using some lateral thinking?? I bought 4 Clown Loaches for 300 Baht, put them in my tank...50 gals...and left them to get aquainted with the other fish.

This morning, not a snail in sight and the clowns going over the gravel looking for more.

Quite miraculous...much better than using a chemical snail killer. I can certainly recomend them, and they look nice as well.

Hi Gennisis, Your up North right, if I am correct, you will need a heater in the tank

when the weather cools, as Clown Loaches are very susceptible to cold weather

they will get Whitespot and die, also treatment is not easy as they are a scaleless

fish,

Also give them plenty of hiding places,as when they get bigger they will fight each

other,at the same shop you can get frozen bloodworm, thats a very good food for

them. 100bht 4 pkts
