3 Iranians arrested at drug production facility in East Pattaya

PATTAYA:--Three Iranians were arrested by Police on Thursday Morning accused of running a drug production facility in East Pattaya.

In a combined Police operation involving Chonburi Immigration, the Narcotics Suppression Bureau and Banglamung Police, an initial raid was conducted on a house located inside the Green Park Village in Soi Chayapruek 2 in East Pattaya.

Inside the two-storey house, Police detained Mr. Behzad Charhooz aged 25, Mr. Mehdi Munaei aged 28 and Mr. Asdollahi Behnamali aged 36, all Iranian Nationals. The three men had been under investigation for some time and thanks to a number of intercepted packages and information from an undercover operative, it was known the three men were importing components used to produce Crystal Methamphetamine from around the world.

Initially they were producing and selling the drug in Pattaya but were about to expand their operation to Bangkok. The components would be brought into Thailand concealed in ceramic pots and other items which they assumed would pass easily through x-ray devices without being detected. The house was being used as a Laboratory where the ingredients were mixed to form the illegal narcotic.

Police were also aware of a second house which was reportedly being used as the distribution and packaging center for the finished drug. The second house, a bungalow at Chockchai Village 7 in Soi Kao Noi was also raided and many packs of the finished drug were found.

Drug Maufacturers & Dealers are the Ultimate lowest form of human life . IMO

They are Murderers by slow Death . I have seen much of the end result.

I agree with Malaysia - Da Da means Death

The worst part is that they will be replaced almost immediately , the profits are too huge to ignore.

If this has saved just one person becoming an addict it is priceless. Well done to all involved.

UPDATE

Huge Drug Production Operation uncovered by Police in East Pattaya

drugs-33.jpg

PATTAYA:--Following the arrest of three Iranians thought to be involved with a well-organized drug production facility in East Pattaya on Thursday Morning, Police conducted a further raid of a warehouse located close-by on Thursday afternoon which leads them to believe they have uncovered one of the largest ever foreign-operated illegal drug making operations ever seen in Thailand.

Officers from Banglamung Police and the Narcotics Suppression Bureau conducted a raid on a warehouse located in Soi Chayapornviti 12 in East Pattaya following information gained from the three Iranian suspects. Upon their arrival they were met by a security guard and the owner of the building, Khun Tiraboon aged 25, who were both unaware of what would be found by Police inside.

The locks on the front steel shutters were broken and officers entered to find many boxes full of imported furniture and 20 air compressors. Much of the furniture had been cut open, suggesting something had been concealed inside and was removed inside the warehouse as evidence of a white power was seen on the floor. Police also found the same Nail Polish Remover Liquid they found in the earlier raid of the house in Chockchai Village 7 in Soi Kao Noi. Also found in the warehouse were ceramic items which were found to be concealing a white power which is thought to be an ingredient used to produce narcotics.

The owner revealed the renter of the warehouse was a British National, originally from Iran, Mr. Manocheher Eskandari aged 40.

Pattaya Regional Police arrest Iranians in three hundred MILLION Baht drug raid

g7.jpg

Pattaya: The biggest drug raid in Thailand’s recent history took place in the city on Wednesday, in a 300,000,000 baht ( three hundred million baht) sting operation.

The newsroom at Pattaya 103FM news has held back on reporting the story as we have worked to establish that the facts are, as far as we can firmly establish, correct, in this exclusive report which has elsewhere been covered as a minor operation. We are now assured that the following content is factual and that the amounts and street values are correct. This is without doubt the largest drug sting in Thailand’s current anti drugs operation.

For months, senior detectives from the Banglamung police serious crime division, in a combined operation involving Thailand’s Narcotics Suppression Bureau, have been tracking one of the most prolific drug producing operations to be uncovered in Thailand.

Over a period of months, detectives pieced together the drug operation and knew that the major players were of Iranian nationality, living in Thailand. The difficult task was to trace them, since they operated under a cloak of anonymity.

The breakthrough came when officers arrested minor dealers who offered up their suppliers to gain favour in their sentencing. Those dealers, in turn arrested, supplied police with a traceable middle man and so the trail began.

The arrest of an Iranian middleman on the 25th of November and his subsequent questioning by the team, resulted in a list of the top dogs, along with addresses where the drugs were manufactured and stored. The middleman had been delivering drugs to Bangkok at the time of his arrest in the Lat Krabang area of the capital Bangkok.

In the early hours of Thursday morning, two police teams were finally allowed to raid the Pattaya addresses, as warrants were issued for what was expected to become major drug raids. Prior to the raid, undercover officers had monitored the house to assess the activity and also to make sure that the operatives were at the address when the raid took place.

The first address to be raided was in Green village Park, on Soi Chayababruk in Pattaya, where the owner had already been questioned and officers knew that several Iranians had rented the secluded house, situated within a 40 Rai estate, for 25,000 baht a month. Officers gained entry during a dawn raid and discovered nearly 19 Kilograms of Yabba Ice, Methamphetamine Drugs, which had been freshly manufactured, along with the chemicals used to manufacture the drug and dilute it to its normal street strength. The upstairs of the house had been converted into a drug factory and the raw chemicals were found along side drug manufacturing equipment.

Two Iranian nationals, Ali Behnam Asadollahi and .Mohammad Mehdi Manaei along with Behtd Gharhyoz were arrested at the scene and taken, along with the substances found, under the strong guard of Pattaya based police, to the Banglamung Regional Police station for further enquiries.

The guy on the right is very handsome. I feel bad for his Mother.

Just don't visit him, or they will hang him - if he ever gets back to the land of overwhelming natural fragrance.

Don't worry. I'm not that much of a bleeding heart but if he was free I wouldn't throw his Ghormeh out of my Sabzi.

( explains using same photos in many cases too). our little team took the reporters report , which came from the police and translated it. in the report, the landlord states that the man came from ireland. so we can only presume he was mislead.

Huh, Credit for this story belongs firmly with our news associate, Mr. Udomgeyit Thipsrigul who has been afforded the privilege of covering the operation by the Pattaya and regional authorities.

Police swoop down on Iranian drug gang

The Nation

PATTAYA: -- Police recently arrested three Iranian drug suspects and seized more than Bt300 million worth of precursor chemicals during a raid in Chon Buri's Bang Lamung district.

The first arrest was that of Ali Behnam Asadollahi on Sunday, and Mohammad Mehdi Manaei and Behtd Gharhyoz were nabbed three days later. According to police, all three suspects have pleaded guilty.

Deputy National Police Commissioner Lt-General Somyos Phumpanmuang said Chon Buri police had been monitoring the movement of this Iranian drug-trafficking gang for more than a year.

"We have finally been able to work out that their drug-manufacturing base was in Pattaya. So, we planned the arrests," Somyos said.

He said Asadollahi was in charge of producing illicit drugs while his accomplices acted as drug deliverymen.

"This gang has eight members. We will nail down the remaining suspects who are still on the run," Somyos added.

We, at Pattaya’s Fabulous 103 FM, are often asked “where does your news come from” and today was no exception, prompting us to post a few facts which may explain the news sources and reporting, together with the reason why most media companies in Pattaya have the very same, in fact identical, photographs
.

He could have been based, or had his passport issued in Northern Ireland. That would make the statement that he was "Irish" technically correct, even though he had a British (EU) passport.
