December 2, 201213 yr I have seen a couple of threads but just want to know if the following will satisfy immigration for me to take my daughter back to England for a couple of weeks. 1. A photocopy of the birth certificate naming me as father 2. A signed copy of the GF's ID card containing a handwritten note stating she is happy for me to take my daughter on holiday. We're not married and I have not been through the court process for paternity rights. My daughter has both a Thai and UK passport.
December 3, 201213 yr Yes, that should do it, also have her write her phone number on it. You can join your daughter in the immigraiton line for Thai nationals leaving and entering Thailand. Have a nice holiday.
December 3, 201213 yr Author Thanks. I may even get 'mum' to stay in the airport until I clear immigration, just in case.

March 23, 201313 yr In practice Thai immigration will check if your child has a different last name than yours. Then they can ask for a permission to take the child out of the country. But often they will just ask the child who you are and if the child confirms you are the father the case is closed. Officially now written permission is always required when a child only travels with one parent, so I advise to get that permission for just in case.
