Chinese Temple

Featured Replies

Anyone know which temple this is? It's in Thailand and it's obviously Chinese in style, but exactly where is it?

im not sure

Wat Yansangwararam

is 15 kilometers south of Pattaya City, turning left from Sukhumvit Highway at Km.160.

Sorry Bambi, it's definitely not Wat Yansangwararam... I've been there many times and although I can't post a photograph, the style of architecture is very different to Camerata's photo.

Atheism: I don't believe this shit

Definatly not Wat Yansangwararam,my son has just spent 3 months there so i have seen a lot of it

It looks very familiar, I have a feeling I've been there, might have been 20, 25 years or more ago, but drawing a blank now. For some reason I want to say that it's in Ayuthaya.

Close! It turns out to be Phra Kaew Pavillion at Muang Boran, based on drawings of a building from the Ayutthaya period.

I was thinking it might be at Muang Boran, then thought maybe I'd seen it in Ayuthaya. Guess I was remembering the explanatory plaque ...

Yeppers thats at The Ancient City .... don't know Why I skipped going there for 2 years ... when I finally did it was nice
