Just wondering if anyone has any first hand experience of the new Punna Condo's up towards the University, I'm seriously considering a unit there and was wondering what the build quality/noise issue is like and whether anyone feels the place is reasonable value - I'm looking at 83 sq metres for 4.5 mill. Any sensible knowledgable/feedback welcome.

Bump: so far a PM tells me that Punna is right on the flight path hence noisy and that a nightclub next door is also a significant noise problem, anything else?

The flight path is a non-issue- I live right across the street, and the very few planes a day are not even noticed. Quiet engines, noise reduction technology- it's not like the old days, with a 4 engine 707 rattling your window panes, drowning out speech, etc.

Also the south is often used at CNX for take offs and landings, depending on wind conditions. When that occurs, there are no flights at all overhead in this neighborhood.

The nightclub is the big issue.

But Punna is a big development, with 4 or 5 buildings. As long as you're not in buildings on the west end of the property, you should be OK.
