CHONBURI:--Two men were shot dead at a Printing Shop in Chonburi District on Monday and Police suspect it may related to a long-running legal dispute over the position of a wall at the location.

Police Major General Katcha, Provincial Police Commander, attended the crime scene and inspected the bodies of Khun Sommai aged 59 who is a Lawyer representing the land owner Khun Punlop aged 55 who recently won a Court case relating to the construction of a wall by the owner of an adjacent piece of land which was deemed unlawful. Both men had been shot in the head, multiple times.

The owner of the printing shop, Khun Tidipong, was not present at the time of the shooting. CCTV picked up a Grey and Green Mitsubishi Strada 4-door pick-up arrive at the scene and its driver approached both men and shot them without any verbal exchange. He then drove off at speed.

Khun Punlop’s wife, who was also present, did mention how threats via mobile phone were frequently received by her Husband in relation to the Court case while it was ongoing. She thinks the verdict in her Husbands favor led to the shooting.
