I am Canadian and currently in Thailand on Tourist Visas, I don't really have a preference if I get insurance from a Thai company or not (as opposed to Online), but I do have some requirements/preferences.

I really don't have any experience at all with insurance, so if there's some ignorance on my part or things in general I should know, please do point them out so I am better equipped to make a choice.

- Price

- Covers me for travels in other countries (I will most likely be travelling to different places in SE Asia)

- Covers as many reasonable expenses as possible

- Reasonable claims process (in English)

- Reputable

- No deductible option

I was looking at worldnomads.com and they have prices that it's kind of hard to believe, $300 or $400 for a full year with apparently great coverage, is this the type of thing I should expect with travel insurance, is there some kind of catch, or are there better companies?
