Surin Elephant Fair

Hi Guys

Next year plan to be in Surin for the Elephant Fair which I believe in 2013 the Elephants breakfast will be on the 15th Nov & the main events on the 16th & 17th Nov, has anyone got any tips or experiences they would like to share.

Btw we will have 2 small children with us our Son who will be 3 then & our Daughter who will be 1 and we will probably stay about a 40min drive outside the city at my mil's place

1)Book a hotel early as they are usually full.

2)Starbeams Restaurant is very friendly and the family will be made welcome. Check them on Tripadvisor.

3)See if there are any local Farang websites with more Surin info.

4)Ensure to get tickets for the VIP shaded seating in the show.

sounds useful but no hotel will be staying at the Mother in-laws out of town
